Kurukshetra 2010

Well “Kurukshetra 2010” is the 1st symposium I attended in my life. Here I m gonna share my 1st exciting experience about the symposium. One of my senior referred our classmates to join the “Kurukshetra 2010” website to register the entries for the symposium, when I heard this I registered immediately after reaching to home from college. As soon as registering I and my another friend azul got the invitation for the event “K! Conclave”. On the day of symposium we took the Print out (I am sorry this is not an ecofriendly act..)of invitation along with a letter to HOD, to request for half a day leave to attend the symposium. But our HOD refused to allow us and we were puzzle and don’t know what to do further, whether to go to symposium or sit in the class. Finally I decided to skip the classes and bunk the college, and we did it somehow taking risk we came out finally B-). Train was waiting at the station we ran to catch the train and we caught it somehow, after reaching Chennai central station we took a bus to Anna university and reached the campus. It was a great pleasure to get in such a great university campus, and we confirmed our registration. When we reached there we found that already two other our classmates were present there, we clubbed together to start rocking. We attend the workshop about “3D laptops” and “K! Conclave” and participated in the snap contest, which was a photography contest and the theme topic was “Kurukshetra 2010 - The Battle of Brains”. But the thing is we dint had that much HD camera to click out the HD photos. After finishing the event we roamed around the campus and clicked few pics. Finally day 1 events got over and we again took a bus to reach out our home, day was awesome and the way we spent that day was very thrilling. Day 2 we went again to symposium mechanical students of our college were presenting their bio-fuel car and the rally was going on we started cheering our college guys and our college got 2 prize (5000) cash prize and mementos we enjoyed that day very well and reached out homes evening. Next day that car was demonstrated at the college to the press and media.
